The Satellite Industry Association’s Navy SATCOM Users’ Workshop has a new home and will be held at WEST 2010 on Wednesday, February 3 rd, 2010 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.

The Navy Day has traditionally joined leaders from the Navy and maritime-related forces with the commercial satellite communications industry. Among the previous years’ keynotes and luncheon, we were pleased to have RADM Kendall L. Card, Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 3; RADM Russell S. Penniman IV, Deputy Commander, C3F; Bob Stephenson, SES, Commander Pacific Fleet, C4I Lead Engineer; and, Dr. Kurt Fiscko, Future SATCOM Chief Engineer, PEO C4I PMW/A 170 .

The Navy Commercial SATCOM Users’ Workshop features briefs, hosted by Navy PEO C4I, on commercial satellite applications and requirements by Navy, Coast Guard and Marines officials, followed by an afternoon of technology solutions presented by leading industry representatives, hosted by SIA.
